Why $15?
California Government Code § 8211 sets the maximum fee a notary public may charge per signature: $15. We charge exactly that — never more. Any notary charging above the statutory maximum is violating state law.
What is the travel fee?
Because we come to you, a travel fee covers time and mileage. It's quoted before your appointment based on distance from Van Nuys — you'll always know your total before we arrive.
After-hours appointments
Evenings, weekends, and same-day urgent visits may include a surcharge. Like travel, it's quoted upfront — no surprises at the door.
How do I pay?
We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and electronic payment. Payment is due at the time of service.
Loan signings
Signing-agent fees are quoted per file based on document count, location, and timing (refinances, purchases, HELOCs, seller packages). Contact us with your closing details for an exact quote.
